Leslie McGhee INDEPENDENT STAMPIN UP DEMONSTRATOR

I'm a very happily married woman, mother of two great grown up kids, with the best husband in the world. I became a Stampin' Up Demonstrator because I love to design cards and complete scrapbooking pages. More than that I love a challenge. I look forward to sharing a bit of my crafting journey with you.

Five Little Pumpkins

Hello Crafter's. Yesterday I attended our Stampin'Up Regional Conference in Hamilton Ontario. It was a fabulous day. I made almost a hundred swap cards and so I got the same number back. The cards I got were beautiful and so well done. I drove myself crazy all week trying to get my swap cards done and was whining about all the work. IT WAS SO WORTH IT!!!! Do you know that there were hundreds of cards displayed, and hundreds of cards exchanged and not one the same. Seriously...same stampsets, same inks, even same papers used but not one the same. I find that both amazing and AWESOME. Three hundred and fifty women gathered on a Saturday in Hamilton and everyone was different and what they make was too. Boggles the mind. Our event was a crazy day of prizes, learning and making things. I wanted it to go on but alas we ended at about Five.
Had a great dinner with a friend and headed home back to reality and responsibility. All that drive home knowing I had to make a card for Shelli's wonderful sketch challenge on Come and Get It Challenge blog before bed. Soooo...I create this Halloween card  using Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer Series Paper from Stampin'Up's, same of our regular card stock and stampset. It was funny talking to Cindy, another designer from Come and Get It....we talked about possible designs and I knew mine was going to be Halloween and hers would be Christmas. And so it was.
Today I clean my Craftroom, get ready for my Card Class tomorrow and hopefully relax a little. But I doubt it. LOL. Thanks for listening. Leslie
